Group Background:

The group is a listed multinational organisation which employs more than 10 000 people globally.


Position Summary:

To assume responsibility and authority for the co-ordination and administration of the Group’s Long Term Share-Based Incentive (LTI) Plans, with emphasis on:

  • Analyzing the structure of existing plans and newly acquired plans and ensuring that these keep pace with the Group’s business evolution and best market practices
  • Harmonise LTI Plans in terms of conditions, administration, procedures and processes in order to add value, save costs and improve on risk management
  • Establish and lead a new team in an inspiring way to quickly develop world class capabilities.

Key Attributes Required:

Must have a BCom (Financial Accounting) degree and should ideally be a Chartered Accountant.


Must have at least 5 years experience in co-ordinating and administrating LTI Plans for a multinational organisation either within the organisation or in a specialised consultancy firm.


Must have a thorough understanding of the accounting principles around LTI plans in order to prepare monthly financial accounts and schedules for all group share-based incentive plans.


Must have legal knowledge and exposure to option plans, schemes and the establishment of trusts.


Must have a sound knowledge of taxation, in particular: Capital Gains Tax for share trusts and individuals, and general income tax for trusts and individuals.


Should have a working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards disclosure requirements for share based compensation and accounting issues.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.


The role is global in nature and approximately 20% of the incumbent's time will be spent on international travel.
