POSITION: Managing Director, Regional Branch


NATURE OF BUSINESS: Total Office Services Provider.




REPORTS TO: Chief Sales Officer


TOTAL STAFF RESPONSIBILITY: In the region of 123 people



The Managing Director will oversee all operational functions of the branch and take responsibility for its’ financial success, whilst implementing its vision, mission and long term goals. Through a constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the greater organisation, the Managing Director will provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to: ensure the organisation sets up and maintains key client relationships; drive revenues through equipment & consumables sales and after sales support; maintain proper operational and administrative controls and reporting procedures; effectively grow the organization and ensure its financial strength and operating efficiency.




  • Must have had at least five years senior management position, ideally with exposure to the ICT sector
  • Must have extensive sales experience in a senior role selling business to business services, either an Industrial Consumable, or ICT Services and Solutions
  • Strong drive to deliver results, understand how to formulate and execute business strategies coupled with an inherent desire to grow the company
  • Be able to demonstrate strong financial management and people management skills
  • Proven business development ability, with an awareness of the competitive and economic landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards




  • Youthful energy, drive and dynamism with strong personal presence, and personality
  • Proven management skills with a successful history of building, developing, and inspiring a team
  • Able to converse knowledgeably with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels
  • Professional and confident, able to articulate well at all levels, establish excellent relationships and gain credibility
  • Self-starter with a strategic mind-set, and the ability to think conceptually while executing strategy
  • Disciplined and determined with drive, initiative, ownership and the ability to make things happen
  • Commercially astute, strong on market development, coupled with the technical ability to bring it all together
  • Excellent relationship building skills with an entrepreneurial flair. Display strong client relationship skills including the ability to build long term relationships, listen to client needs and present and sell to clients
  • Drives for results and initiates action and commits to achieving business outcomes by taking accountability for goals.
