POSITION: Independent Non-Executive Director

NATURE OF BUSINESS: Listed Records & Information Management Company

JOB LOCATION: Johannesburg

REPORTS TO: Chairman of the Board




The Non-Executive Director should bring an experienced and objective view to Board issues and deliberations. He/She would be expected to have an impact on the Board, providing a dynamic and creative contribution to the strategic direction of the Company as well as on a wide range of business issues. He/she may be appointed as a Member of appropriate Sub-Committees depending on areas of expertise



  • Must hold a tertiary qualification with a preference for a Commerce, Chartered Accountancy or Technology oriented degree
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of innovation and technology trends and the application of new technologies and systems implementation methods in transforming businesses
  • Must have demonstrable experience and appreciation of business transformation through the application and the use of technology
  • Must have an understanding and appreciation of doing business in Africa
  • Proven track record of strategic executive leadership, change management and personal achievement
  • Must have an understanding of corporate governance and boardroom issues
  • Must have an understanding of business and an appreciation of broad economic, commercial and financial trends
  • Providing the Board with knowledge, expertise, judgement and balance, contributing to the overall growth, profitability and future development of the Company and providing advice on international technical and systems advancements
