POSITION: Head of Consumer Segment

The Head of Consumer Segment will lead a team to drive outstanding execution across the value chain and will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategy for the Bank Consumer Segment. He/she will be a bring a passion for meeting the needs of individuals through a range of banking products; bringing an understanding of the benefits that technology can bring to customers daily lives



  • Proven experience in the financial services or telecommunications sector, ideally including direct experience in digital channels and product design and management responsibilities for banking products in the consumer segment
  • Experience in consumer segment strategy development and product development, with proven impacts to market development
  • Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • A passion for the customer experience and an understanding of customer behaviour
  • A deep understanding of digital and the benefits technology can bring to customer’s daily lives
  • Experience in distributing and servicing products through independent channels



  • Develop and drive business strategies to maximize customer segment and product profitability.  This includes:
  • Using data driven analysis and business experience to develop innovative and efficient solutions to meet customer needs and to ensure that they [the customers] are aware of the possibilities and the value in using the products and services
  • Co-creating the product development strategy with the Head of Customer and Product (Design), including design of a roadmap for the evolution of banking products to distinguish TYME consumer strategy from its competitors
  • Working in partnership with Marketing and Analytics teams to leverage analytics, trends and customer insights to design and manage the portfolios and optimize sales and distribution through our digital channels and partners
