POSITION: Director, Human Resources

 

NATURE OF BUSINESS: Metals processing and smelting operation

 

JOB LOCATION: Namibia

 

REPORTS TO: Managing Director

 

SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: The incumbent will be accountable for Human Resources strategy, design and implementation.

 

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

 

  • Relevant undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with preference for qualifications in Human Resources Management

  • 10-15 years’ experience in large mining, metallurgical or industrial operations

  • In addition to the years of experience, he/she should provide leadership & management within the technical areas of Human Resources Management

  • Experience should preferably have been gained in a general Human Resources environment but leadership within a specialised Human Resources area will be considered

  • Preference will be given to a Namibian citizen
