POSITION: General Manager, Sales Channels and Distribution

JOB LOCATION: Johannesburg

SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY: Strategic, Group level role to deliver a unique channel proposition through structured trade layer management. Contribute to strategy development and manage the execution and implementation of the strategy through working with and across functions, multiple processes, discipline technologies, products, teams and customers


  • Must have been responsible for designing, developing and implementing sales channels and distribution models in multiple operations in Africa and the Middle East

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in consumer sales for a global/multinational enterprise in the Information and Communication Technology, Fast Moving Consumer Goods or Retail Sectors

  • Five years track record of senior management experience

  • Experience in leading change and transformation

  • Continuous improvement experience through the implementation of best practices
