Position Summary:

• Full accountability and responsibility for the Financial Management of the Group that has a turnover in excess of R1,5 billion
• Managing a direct staff of 30 people in the Financial Department

Key Attributes Required:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• At least ten years experience in a JSE listed company
• Mergers and Acquisition experience is an added advantage
• Should ideally have worked in the timber or allied agricultural sectors with a processing component
• A thorough understanding of Accounting Standards such as GAAP and IFRS and other relevant banking and credit legislative frameworks as well as market risk dynamics and treasury expertise
• The ability to translate business strategy into actionable financial plans
• Track record as a world class Chief Financial Officer, successful in playing a global role in a business
