Cash Management Solutions and Technology Company with annual revenues less than R100 million.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will assume full profit and loss responsibility and authority for the effective leadership of the business so as to achieve a financial performance which is in line with agreed objectives.

Key areas of activity:

• Determine, in conjunction with the Board, the strategic directional modifications to the business plan and operating criteria for the business for the immediate, medium and long term
• Assume total bottom line responsibility for the business
• Translate the financial plan into budgets and ensure the company is structured so as to deliver on budgets
• Position the company as a reliable, cost effective producer so as to win additional contracts
• Motivate and manage a highly specialised team of subordinates

Key Attributes Required:

• A graduate ideally with a Business Degree
• At least two years’ experience at General Manager level, of a service oriented company with full profit and loss responsibility
• Must be a seasoned negotiator with an entrepreneurial approach to business, experienced in selling an image or a service
• Strategic insight into the issues affecting the technology and sales industry
• Successful track record in financial planning and providing high standards of financial control and effective management of working capital
• Knowledge of cash and its flow through business and banking processes
