GROUP BACKGROUND: Inbound Tour Operator
KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Must be a graduate
-
At least fifteen years post qualifying experience
-
Should currently be Managing Director/Member of the Executive Committee of a company/division in the hospitality/tourism sector
-
Experience in a tour operating company, ideally inbound, is essential
-
Should have managed a professional staff complement of at least fifty people and have been responsible for an annual turnover of at least R200 million
-
Must have strong customer service and service delivery orientation
-
Strongly profit and results orientated, financially literate and commercially astute
-
Must be willing to travel extensively in Southern Africa and Internationally
KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Creating, developing and implementing a vision, strategic direction and momentum to grow the company organically ensuring a 15% return on investment and doubling the annual turnover
-
Developing commercial relationships with international clients and local hospitality groups
-
Identifying, sourcing, finding and concluding new acquisitions in order to expand the division
-
Managing relationships with and lobbying key stakeholders
-
Motivating, mentoring and guiding the members of the Executive Committee
-
Ensuring effective corporate governance processes and systems are in place
-
Creating an ethos of excellence and desire for continuous improvement and growth in the company
