KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

A Bachelors degree in commerce or IMM qualification

At least 8 years classical marketing experience in a top-tier multinational FMCG food company
-
Brand management and marketing experience in Sub Saharan Africa would be advantageous
-
Combination of strategic and implementation capability
-
Highly energetic, creative and innovative
-
Highly flexible and reactive
-
Experience in people management and building a winning team
-
Must show initiative and have excellent problem solving skills
-
Potential to take responsibility for additional brands and operate in a more senior capacity in the medium to longer-term
KEY JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS:
-
Recommend marketing strategies and action plans (related to communication, price, product - renovation+innovation - , promotion, pack) to improve competitiveness of the brand and achieve brand objectives (volume, profitability, etc...)
-
Continuously ensures that brand strategies maximize their contribution to company business results.
-
Monitor and evaluate performance of his/her brand (internal sales, consumer panels, market data, ad-hoc researches), follow-up competition and market evolution, if necessary recommend changes to strategy or action plans.

Manage brand review, marketing plan and budget planning process.

Manage brand related projects:
-
Project steps preparation
-
Information sharing within project team
-
Coordination among departments
-
Final evaluation
-
Build relationships with other brands. Participate in global brand meetings to share/collect best practices.

Continuously look for new opportunities and challenges current portfolio. Monitors and uses worldwide best practices in order to fit into and use for local brand activities
