Interim Executive

Interim Executives provide a unique set of skills or experience on a temporary basis. They are independent Executive Managers who have achieved significant success during the course of their executive careers and have now opted to work as change management specialists or temporary executives on a contract basis rather than be full-time employees.

Woodburn Mann's Interim Executives are a select, highly experienced, group of professionals who assist organisations that are faced with extraordinary challenges. Interim assignments may range from a few months to several years, depending on the scale of the assignment.

Often an Interim Executive is required when a key executive suddenly departs and the organisation is exposed to risk should the position be vacant while an Executive Search is undertaken to find a replacement. An Interim Executive is also able to add significant value in the execution of projects to engineer business turnarounds and restructure operations.

Woodburn Mann forms long-term relationships with exceptional individuals who are diverse and highly experienced hands-on practitioners with strong track records of executive delivery and corporate success. Each Interim Executive has the capability to come into an organisation; hit the ground running; identify the problems; formulate a strategy; implement the difficult decisions; and effect a turnaround. Once the objectives have been achieved, the Interim Executive will ensure that there is a good Executive Team in place to build on the newly laid foundation before exiting the organisation.

Woodburn Mann's Interim Executive service includes the development of a detailed specification of the requirements for the role and communication of that brief to select candidates who most closely meet the specific requirements for the role. A shortlist of candidates is presented, interviews follow and a contract agreed with the finally selected candidate.
